An Engaging Discussion with Lucas Hernandez

Interviewer: Hey Lucas, thanks for taking the time to chat with us today. Let’s kick things off with a big one—how’s it been adjusting to life in Munich with Bayern?

Lucas Hernandez: Oh, it’s been great! Coming from Madrid to Munich was quite a shift, but I’m loving every bit of it. The fans here are incredibly passionate and the city itself has so much to offer. And of course, playing with such a world-class squad is an honor.

Interviewer: Absolutely, Bayern Munich has some stellar talent. Speaking of which, what’s it like being around defensive powerhouses like David Alaba and Joshua Kimmich? Any friendly competition going on?

Lucas Hernandez: (laughs) You bet! We’re all super competitive, but it’s a healthy competition. Everyone pushes each other to be better. David is just a monster on the pitch—his versatility is insane. And Joshua, that guy never stops! It’s like he has an extra lung or something.

Interviewer: (laughs) An extra lung—sounds about right! On a more personal note, what do you do when you’re not on the pitch? Any hidden talents or hobbies we should know about?

Lucas Hernandez: Well, I wouldn’t call them hidden talents, but I love to cook. My mom always says the way to someone’s heart is through their stomach, so I’ve taken that to heart. Also, I’m pretty into gaming. FIFA tournaments with the lads can get pretty intense!

Interviewer: Cooking and gaming, I like it! So, what’s the favorite dish you like to cook?

Lucas Hernandez: Definitely a good old Spanish paella. Brings me a little slice of home here in Germany. Plus, it’s always a hit with family and friends—it’s social food, you know?

Interviewer: Sounds delicious! Alright, last question—what’s the ultimate goal for you? Both short-term and long-term.

Lucas Hernandez: Short-term, I really want to help Bayern secure another Champions League title. Long-term, I hope to establish myself as one of the best defenders in the world while collecting as much silverware as possible! And maybe, down the line, I wouldn’t mind trying my hand at coaching.

Interviewer: Ambitious! Thanks for chatting with us, Lucas. It’s been awesome getting to know you a bit better. Best of luck with everything!

Lucas Hernandez: Thanks! It’s been fun. Anytime, always a pleasure!
