Tony Parker and Tim Duncan Talk Life, Basketball, and Future Endeavors

Tony Parker: Hey Timmy! Long time no see. How’s retirement treating you?

Tim Duncan: Tony! It’s been good. A lot quieter without all the basketball chaos. Spending time with the family, doing some coaching… you know, the simple life. What about you?

Tony Parker: Pretty much the same, just extremely busy. Between the basketball academy, my music label, and, of course, taking care of the family—life is always on the go. Any chance you’ll visit Lyon and check out ASVEL one of these days?

Tim Duncan: You know I might take you up on that! Always heard great things about ASVEL. Plus, it would be nice to see the club you’re investing so much passion into. Speaking of which, what’s next for the club?

Tony Parker: I’m really excited about the direction we’re heading. We’re looking to foster some of the best young talents in Europe and, who knows, maybe even snag a EuroLeague title in the near future!

Tim Duncan: That’s incredible. I always knew you had a knack for mentoring young talent. How’s it comparing to leading an NBA team?

Tony Parker: It’s different but fulfilling in its own way. When you’re on the court, it’s about your own game. Now, it’s about nurturing others and building a future. But hey, speaking of the court, you miss those sweet pick-and-rolls we used to run?

Tim Duncan: Absolutely. You running that drive, me ready for the pass or the rebound… Good times. You still manage to get some pick-up games in?

Tony Parker: Occasionally. Mostly with the academy kids to keep them on their toes. But I’ll tell you, they wear me out faster than any NBA game ever did!

Tim Duncan: Hah! I can imagine. So, what’s next for Tony Parker outside basketball? Any new ventures?

Tony Parker: Oh, always. I might delve deeper into music and maybe some acting. Who knows? The world is full of opportunities. What about you, consider doing something wild like skydiving or maybe writing a book?

Tim Duncan: (Laughs) Skydiving, maybe not. But a book, that could be cool. You never know, Tony. There’s always a new chapter waiting to be written—literally and figuratively.

Tony Parker: Couldn’t agree more, my friend. Always moving forward, always evolving. Cheers to that!

Tim Duncan: Cheers, Tony. Always a pleasure catching up!
