An Afternoon With Tyler Higbee and Sean McVay
Sean McVay: Hey Tyler, thanks for catching up with me today. How have you been?
Tyler Higbee: Hey Coach! I’ve been great, just gearing up for the next season. You know how it is. How about you?
Sean McVay: Busy as usual! But it’s all good. So, I was curious, what are you focusing on during this off-season to bring your game to the next level?
Tyler Higbee: I’m really honing in on my route running and speed. I want to be that reliable option downfield. Plus, I’ve been watching a bunch of film to study defenses better. Anything specific you want me to work on?
Sean McVay: That sounds perfect. You’ve always been a versatile player, and improving those aspects will make you even more of a threat. By the way, do you have any new hobbies or interests you’ve picked up recently?
Tyler Higbee: Actually, yeah! I’ve been getting into cooking. Trying out new recipes and all that. What about you, Coach? Any secret talents we should know about?
Sean McVay: (laughs) Cooking, huh? Maybe you can whip up something for the team sometime! As for me, I’ve picked up gardening. Keeps me calm and grounded after a busy day.
Tyler Higbee: Gardening? I didn’t see that one coming! Guess you gotta keep those play-calling skills sharp by strategizing with plants too, huh?
Sean McVay: (laughs) Something like that. Speaking of play-calling, any goals for the upcoming season? Maybe a Pro Bowl or breaking some records?
Tyler Higbee: Definitely aiming for the Pro Bowl, but more importantly, just want to make sure I’m doing my part to get us to the Super Bowl. Records are awesome, but a championship is the ultimate goal.
Sean McVay: Love the attitude, Tyler. That’s what makes this team special. We’re all in it to win it together. Speaking of together, team bonding events coming up soon. Any ideas on what we should do?
Tyler Higbee: How about a cook-off? Since I’ve got the culinary skills now and all. Could be a fun way to get everyone involved and lighten the mood before the grind starts.
Sean McVay: I like it! A little friendly competition never hurt anyone. Plus, it’ll be interesting to see who the hidden chefs on the team are. Alright, Tyler, thanks for the chat. Always inspiring to hear your dedication and excitement.
Tyler Higbee: Anytime, Coach. Thanks for believing in me and pushing us to be the best. Can’t wait to get back out there and make this season memorable!
