After swimming, there’s usually some weight training or a dryland workout. Post-workout, I go for a recovery meal and sometimes a quick nap if time allows.

Interviewer: That’s intense! I’ve heard a lot about how athletes balance their physical and mental well-being. How do you stay mentally sharp and motivated?

Alex Walsh: Great question. A big part of it is setting clear goals for myself, both short-term and long-term.
