A Chat Between BMX Legend Dennis Enarson and Skateboarding Icon Tony Hawk
Tony Hawk: Hey Dennis! First off, massive respect—you’re killing it on the BMX scene. How’s everything going?
Dennis Enarson: Tony, what’s up! It’s always surreal chatting with you, man. Things are great—just wrapping up some filming for a new video part. You know how it is!
Tony Hawk: Oh, absolutely. The adrenaline never gets old! Speaking of video parts, your latest stuff in “Right Here” blew my mind. How are you always pushing the envelope?
Dennis Enarson: Thanks, dude. Means a lot coming from you. Honestly, it’s about staying hungry, and not being afraid to eat dirt, literally. Got to ask, how do you juggle everything from Birdhouse to the skatepark projects?
Tony Hawk: It’s a balancing act for sure, but I thrive on chaos. And having an incredible team helps. Speaking of teams, what’s the dynamic like with your crew? Must be a blast riding with those guys.
Dennis Enarson: We have a solid squad for sure. The camaraderie is what keeps us pushing each other to go bigger and better. Any epic skate trips you’ve had recently that stand out?
Tony Hawk: We did a tour through Europe earlier this year that was insane. The street spots in Barcelona are like skateboarding heaven! What’s the most memorable place you’ve ridden lately?
Dennis Enarson: Barcelona is definitely on my list! Lately, I’d say riding in Medellín, Colombia was wild. The energy there is something else. Any advice you’d give to young guns trying to make it in action sports?
Tony Hawk: Just be relentless. Love what you do and don’t give up, no matter the setbacks. And always keep learning new things. What’s your advice for the BMX rookies out there?
Dennis Enarson: Totally agree with you. I’d say stay true to your style and don’t be afraid to push the limits. Like you always say, if you’re not falling, you’re not learning. Any last words of wisdom for our readers?
Tony Hawk: Never lose the passion, and always remember to have fun with it. Thanks for the awesome chat, Dennis. Keep shredding, man!
Dennis Enarson: Will do, Tony! This has been rad. Until next time!”
There you have it, folks—a candid conversation between two legends of action sports. Keep pushing boundaries and doing what you love!
